What Wormillion is
Wormillion is a geography word game that asks you to name real places fitting the prompt in front of you. The more obscure your answer, the deeper it scores. Each run is quick, free, and played entirely in your browser.
How to play
You get 10 rounds with 30 seconds on the clock for each one. Type an answer, then Dig to submit it. If you're stuck, you can skip the round, but skipping scores nothing. Wrong answers cost nothing, so there's little reason not to take a guess. You can't repeat an answer within a single run, so you'll need to reach further as the rounds go on.
Tips
- Wrong answers cost nothing and skipping scores zero, so always submit a guess rather than passing on a round.
- Think beyond capitals and famous landmarks. A place with fewer monthly Wikipedia views earns more points, so the more obscure your knowledge, the better.
Common questions
How many rounds are in a game?
Each run has 10 rounds, and you have 30 seconds per round.
What happens if I skip a round?
Skipping a round scores nothing. Wrong answers, on the other hand, don't cost anything, so it's usually better to guess than to skip.
