Overview

What Which Is Bigger? is

Which Is Bigger? is a timed geography trivia game built around 2020 U.S. Census populations. Each matchup presents two U.S. places, and the goal is to choose the one with the larger population. Correct picks update your score and streak across timed rounds. You can play unlimited Free Play matchups drawn from all 50 states, or try the separate Daily Challenge with its own data set. Practice mode, place filters, difficulty levels, and stats such as best score and longest streak round out the experience.

Getting started

How to play

From the menu, choose Daily Challenge, Free Play, or Practice. Each matchup shows two places and a countdown timer; the default time shown is 8.0 seconds. Pick the place you believe has the larger population. Correct picks update your score and streak, and scoring includes difficulty multipliers. Use the place filter to choose which places appear in matchups, and set the place pool to all places or a state such as Wisconsin. Difficulty levels include Novice, Expert, Master, and All. You can pause the timer or start and restart a game from the menu, browse image credits and data sources, and share your final score after the Game Over screen.
