What Vexle is

Vexle challenges you to identify the daily country flag by reconstructing it from scratch. Each day, a new flag from somewhere in the world is selected, and your job is to assemble its layout and colors correctly within six attempts. As you submit your guesses, you receive feedback that indicates which components or positions are right, helping you narrow down the solution. The game offers two distinct ways to play: the main assembly mode, where you pick a flag layout and assign colors to match the target, and a draw mode, where you can sketch any flag from memory without restrictions to see how close you come. Neither mode requires an account, and the whole experience is free to enjoy directly in your browser. The daily format keeps each session brief, typically taking about five minutes, while the worldwide variety of flags keeps your geography knowledge sharp.

How to play

In assembly mode, you begin by choosing a flag layout from the available parts. After selecting a layout, you assign colors to each section. Once you submit your guess, the game provides feedback similar to Wordle, telling you which parts are correct and whether they are in the right position. Use that information to refine your next attempt. You have six tries in total to build the correct flag. If you prefer a more open challenge, switch to draw mode, where you can sketch any flag from memory without constraints. When you finish or run out of tries, the game shows how accurate your reconstruction was.

Tips

1. After each guess, focus on which components were marked correct and which were not; this narrows down the layout quickly.
2. Start with a common layout like a tricolor or horizontal bands to test basic color positions before refining details.
3. In draw mode, take your time to match proportions and colors; accuracy is judged on how close your sketch is to the real flag.
