Overview

What Weighsies is

Weighsies is a daily guessing game that puts your sense of real-world weights to the test. Each day, you face five heavy objects—like cats, bananas, or bowling balls—and your job is to figure out how many of a given item would balance the scale. You type a number, weigh the object, and see how close you came. Your accuracy earns a score up to 100%. After the main five, three extra balancing puzzles ask you to place items onto the pan to find the exact combination that tips the scale.

Getting started

How to play

For each of the five daily objects, you get one guess. Type a number that represents how many of the listed item you think would match the object's weight, then weigh it. The game shows you the real weight of the object and your guess, along with a closeness score. After finishing the five, three bonus puzzles let you interact with the pan directly—place items until the scale balances.

Practical help

Tips

  1. Think about the object's real weight before guessing. Since the weights come from Wikipedia, they reflect actual everyday measurements—a bowling ball, for example, is much heavier than a banana.
  2. For the extra balancing puzzles, use the known weights of the items you've already seen. The goal is to match the target weight exactly, so add items one by one until the scale levels out.
Quick answers

Common questions

How is my score calculated?

Your score is based on how close your guess is to the real weight, with a maximum of 100% for an exact match. The closer your number, the higher your percentage.

Are the weights realistic?

Yes. The weights used in the game are real figures sourced from Wikipedia, so they reflect actual measurements for the objects shown.
