What Tilt is

Tilt is a daily scale-balancing estimation game from a single indie developer. The objective in each round is to guess how many copies of the object on the left—apples, for example—would be needed to balance the scale against the large weight shown as a pile on the right. Each day has one puzzle made up of five rounds, and points are awarded according to how close your guess turns out to be. A full daily puzzle can score up to 500 points. The scale remains locked while you are guessing, so you rely on your eye and intuition rather than trial and error. You can place objects on the scale or enter a number, choose from quick quantity options such as 1, 10, 100, 1K, 10K, 100K, 1M, and 10M, then submit to see your score. Past daily puzzles remain playable from the calendar and add to your stats, though they do not extend your current streak. No account or email is needed, and feedback is anonymous. Optional support includes Tilt+ at $2.99 per month for no ads, unlimited bonus rounds, and every past puzzle, plus a pay-what-you-want Supporter Pack.

How to play

In each round, look at the single object on the left and the large pile on the right, then estimate how many copies would equal the unknown weight. You can drag objects onto the scale or use the numeric entry to set your guess; quick quantity choices range from 1 up to 10M. Once your guess is set, press Weigh it to submit it and earn points based on accuracy. The scale stays locked while guessing, so you cannot test values before committing. After five rounds, your daily total is determined, with 500 points available for a perfect run. From the calendar you can play earlier daily puzzles, and you can watch a short ad to add five bonus rounds. Tilt+ expands that to unlimited bonus rounds and full access to every past puzzle.

Tips

1. Because closer guesses score more points, decide on a single round number and commit; the scale stays locked while guessing, so you won't be able to adjust after submitting.
2. Quick quantity buttons go from 1 up to 10M; using those anchors can keep your estimate in the right order of magnitude instead of aiming for exact counts.
3. Past puzzles from the calendar add to your stats but not to your streak, so playing older days is still useful for building a record.
4. If you run out of regular rounds, watching a short ad unlocks five bonus rounds; Tilt+ offers unlimited bonus rounds for those who don't want ads.
