What Septimot is

In Septimot, your daily goal is to uncover the mystery word by playing seven distinct mini-games, each of which grants a clue that narrows down the answer. The first mini-game is available immediately at midnight, and each subsequent one unlocks after you complete the previous, whether you win or lose. As you gather clues, you can guess the word at any time; doing so before using all clues earns more points. Specifically, a clue collected before a correct guess is worth 30 points, while one collected after is worth 10. Guessing correctly also gives a bonus that ranges from 400 points if you used only one clue down to 100 points if you used all seven. Wrong guesses deduct 10 points, and you can reveal a letter for 15 points, up to three times per day. Your score accumulates over the week, resetting every Monday, and finding the word each day builds a streak that resets if you miss a day. You can also earn trophies—14 in total—and collecting all of them adds a 300-point bonus. Leaderboards let you compare your weekly total with friends or all players, and archives of the last seven days are available online. A recovery code allows you to carry your scores to another device.

How to play

Start by playing the first mini-game of the day. Once you finish it, the next mini-game unlocks, and so on through all seven. Each completed mini-game provides a progressive clue toward the mystery word. You can attempt to guess the word at any point, but using clues before guessing yields more points: 30 per clue instead of 10 after a correct guess.
