What Puttsies is
Puttsies is a free, browser-based mini-golf game that presents a daily set of nine holes made from everyday household objects. Your objective is straightforward: putt the ball until it drops into each hole, and try to use as few strokes as possible along the way. Every putt counts as one stroke, and the ball is always played from wherever it stops, so how you line up each shot matters as much as how hard you hit it. The course is built around rails, obstacles and open table edges, which means you need to judge bounces and avoid sending the ball off the side. All players face the same nine holes each day, making it a shared daily challenge you can pick up quickly.
How to play
Press anywhere and drag back to draw back a putter, then release to roll the ball. The farther you pull back, the more distance the ball gets, so short approach putts need only a small pull. The ball reacts to rails and obstacles such as mugs, ducks and pencils, so you can use rails to bounce the ball back toward the hole. After each stroke, play the next putt from wherever the ball stopped. Complete the nine daily holes to finish the round, then choose to continue with the back nine if you want extra holes.
Tips
- The pull distance sets the roll distance, so take a moment to judge the gap before pulling back; a long pull on a short hole can easily run the ball past the target.
- When a direct line to the hole is blocked, aim at a nearby rail to bounce the ball back toward the hole instead of trying to squeeze past an obstacle.
- Remember that the ball plays from where it stops. A miss that leaves you behind a pencil or near the edge can be much harder than a miss with a clear follow-up shot.
- Watch for open edges on the table. Because a ball that rolls past an edge leaves the table, give yourself a safe margin when aiming along the sides.
Common questions
How many holes are in a daily Puttsies round?
A full round consists of nine daily holes, and all players see the same nine holes each day. After finishing those nine, you also have the option to play the back nine for extra holes.
What does a birdie mean in Puttsies?
A birdie means you finished a hole one stroke under par. In Puttsies, one under par on a hole is called a birdie, so it is the result of getting the ball into the hole in one fewer stroke than par.
Is there more to play after the nine daily holes?
Yes, the back nine is available for extra play after the main nine-hole round. It gives you more holes to tackle once you have finished the shared daily course.
What kinds of objects appear on the course?
The holes are constructed from household objects, and obstacles include mugs, ducks and pencils. These items sit on the table as part of the course, and the ball bounces off rails while moving around them.
