What Pokedle is
Pokedle is a daily logic-grid puzzle built around the Pokémon universe. Each day brings a fresh 3x3 grid, and your goal is to fill all nine cells correctly. Every cell sits at the intersection of one row type and one column type, so the Pokémon you choose must match both. You have nine guesses total, one for each cell, and once you place a Pokémon it stays in place. You cannot use the same Pokémon twice in the grid.
How to play
To fill a cell, open the Pokémon picker. You can search by name, filter by type tab, or browse the full list. Select a Pokémon to place it permanently. The puzzle is won when all nine cells are correct.
Tips
- Use the type tabs to narrow down candidates for each row and column before committing a guess.
- If you want a high score, favor obscure Pokémon: rarity bonus scoring rewards less common species.
- When stuck, spend a hint to reveal one valid Pokémon name for a specific cell.
Common questions
