What Moonshot is

Moonshot is a daily, free-to-play word game with a space-themed journey. One new game appears each day, and every game is built around a fresh category. The objective is to name the most common answers for that category first, then call on rarer or more obscure answers to keep the rocket moving across the solar system. Word answers are accepted by category, and progression is designed to move from common answers to uncommon ones. Results are tracked in a logbook, and a day streak is tracked. The game also includes a sky tracking system and a ×1.5 combo multiplier that can be active during play. If you need it, a skip/report option is available. Moonshot is available to play on the web.

How to play

Start with the daily category and enter the answers that seem most common to you. The game is built around moving from common answers to obscure answers, so save rare vocabulary for later. Once the obvious answers are in, submit rarer or more obscure terms you know to continue. Each accepted answer advances the rocket across the solar system. Use the logbook to track your results and keep an eye on your day streak. If you encounter a word or outcome that needs attention, use the skip/report option. Because one new game appears each day, each session is a fresh category and a fresh chance to move from common answers to obscure ones.

Tips

1. Begin each daily category by entering the most common answers you can think of before moving to rarer terms, since progression is built around common-to-obscure answers.
2. After the obvious answers are exhausted, shift to rare, oddly specific, or lesser-known terms in that category to keep the rocket advancing.
3. If a word or situation needs attention, use the skip/report option instead of letting it stop your run.
