Overview

What Fish RNGdle is

Fish RNGdle turns one daily random number into a set of mathematical discovery challenges. Each UTC day you generate a single number between 0 and 1,000,000, then inspect it through a pixel ocean interface where fish illustrations stand in for badge cards. The Badge Breakdown explains each badge condition, highlights matching digits, and gives each badge an entropy point value. There are 233 mathematical rule categories, so a single number can qualify as a prime, palindrome, repeated-digit pattern, sequence, hidden equation, and more. In a separate local challenge, you choose three distinct digit positions from that same number and keep their order to form the largest possible three-digit catch. You can clear and retry that catch as much as you like, while the badges and entropy points remain tied to the original roll. A daily leaderboard compares saved player results, and free guest play is available without signing up.

Getting started

How to play

Start the day by generating the daily random number. If you want the result saved in your account history and on the daily leaderboard, sign in before generating; a guest roll cannot be saved afterward. Open the Badge Breakdown to see which of the 233 mathematical rules the number satisfies, the highlighted digits behind each match, its rarity, and the entropy points awarded. For the catch challenge, take the same generated digits and select three distinct positions, in their original order, to create the largest possible three-digit number. You may clear and redo this local catch without spending another daily roll and without changing the badges or EP. You can also browse leaderboard numbers to read other players' badge breakdowns; opening one of those numbers does not replace your own result or grant its badges.

Practical help

Tips

  1. Sign in before generating today's number if you want it saved; a guest result cannot be added to account history afterward.
  2. The catch attempt can be cleared and redone as many times as you want locally—retrying does not consume another daily roll and does not change your badges or EP.
  3. Don't judge a number by its size. A larger value can still earn fewer points; inspect the pattern rules, rarity, and entropy points in the Badge Breakdown.
  4. Check whether one part of the number satisfies several rules. Family grouping matters before you treat two cards as separate EP sources.
Quick answers

Common questions

Can I play without creating an account?

Yes, guest play is free and requires no signup. Guest results are kept separate from account results, so sign in before generating if you want the number saved to account history or included in the daily leaderboard.

When does the next daily number unlock?

There is one roll per UTC day, and the next roll unlocks at 00:00 UTC. Clearing or retrying your three-digit catch does not use another daily roll.

What kinds of patterns can earn badges?

The daily number is checked against 233 mathematical badge rules. Primes, palindromes, repeated digits, sequences, and hidden equations are among the patterns that may produce badges, and each badge shows its condition plus highlighted digits.

Can another player's leaderboard number become my result?

No. Browsing a leaderboard entry only lets you examine that number's badge breakdown and rarity. It does not replace your current result or award you its badges or EP.
