What Droplet is
Droplet blends the tension of stacking tiles with the satisfaction of forming words. Each day, a fixed sequence of letter tiles drops from an unpredictable funnel into a six-column, eight-row well. Your goal is to steer each falling tile left or right so that you can spell words of three to eight letters in straight horizontal or vertical lines. Words of four or more letters clear the moment they are formed, while three-letter words light up and only clear when you tap them. If any column reaches the top of the board, you lose a life; three lives end the game. The puzzle is the same for all players on a given date, so scores are directly comparable. Bonus squares (2L/3L/4L and 2W/3W/4W) multiply letter and word values, a wildcard tile can become any letter, and a Hold slot lets you park a tile for later. Every fifty points, the drop speed increases, turning success into the difficulty curve.
How to play
As each tile drops, steer it left or right to position it in the column of your choice. Build words horizontally across a row or vertically down a column, reading left-to-right or top-to-bottom. Words must be three to eight letters long; no diagonals, snaking, or backwards words count. When you complete a word of four or more letters, it clears immediately and scores points based on letter values, length bonuses, and any bonus squares covered. Three-letter words light up but do not clear automatically; tap one to remove it manually. Use the Hold slot to set aside a tile from the Next queue, which advances the two tiles behind it. When the wildcard tile lands, choose any letter for it; it carries no point value itself. If you complete two words with a single drop, that drop's score doubles. A vertical word of seven or more letters earns a Bingo bonus of fifty points. Keep an eye on the column heights, because a column reaching the top costs a life.

Common questions
How do three-letter words clear?
Three-letter words light up when formed but do not disappear on their own. You must tap a lit three-letter word to clear it. This prevents accidental demolition of short words and gives you control over when to remove them.
What happens when a column reaches the top of the board?
If any column reaches the top of the six-column, eight-row well, you lose one of your three lives. After three such events, the game ends. The goal is to keep clearing words so the tiles never stack that high.
Is the daily puzzle the same for every player?
Yes. The tile sequence and the funnel that determines each tile's drop column are fixed by the date. All players see the same tiles on the same day, so scores are comparable across the community.
How does the wildcard tile work?
The wildcard, marked with a star, has no point value of its own. When it lands, you choose any letter to represent it. It can be used in any word, including as part of a Bingo, but it does not add letter value to your score.
