Overview

What Chartdle is

Chartdle presents you with a single price chart and asks one question: which financial symbol does it belong to? The answer could be a stock, a future, a forex pair, or a cryptocurrency. Your only clue is the shape of the chart itself — its trend, volatility, and scale. Each day brings a fresh puzzle, and the game rewards both market familiarity and careful visual reasoning. It's a free, browser-based daily exercise designed to be completed in about five minutes.

Getting started

How to play

Each day you are shown a price chart and must identify the financial instrument it represents. You make a guess by entering a symbol, and the game evaluates it Wordle-style, guiding you toward the correct answer through a limited number of attempts. The chart is the sole source of information, so close observation matters more than memorised facts.

Practical help

Tips

  1. Before guessing, study the chart's overall shape: a steady upward trend, sharp swings, or a flat range can hint at whether you're looking at a stock, a commodity future, a currency pair, or a digital asset.
  2. Keep the four possible categories in mind as you narrow down your guess. Matching the chart's behaviour to the right asset class is often the fastest route to the correct symbol.
